Why should you consider a home inspection?

Ensure the home you buy is a good investment

Home inspection is a tool, that you the home buyer, can use to help determine if the home you are purchasing is of sound value. Also, it can determine the amount of TLC  required to make home improvements.

A home is likely the biggest purchase you will make

A home inspection will cost you a little bit of time and money, but in the long run you'll be glad you did it. The inspection can reveal problems that you may be able to get the current owners to repair before you move in – or else, prevent you from inadvertently buying a money pit.

Understand maintenance costs before purchase

A home inspection will give you a baseline from where to start. If you are a DIY type of person, a home inspection report will give you some guidance of where to start. If you are not DIY person, a home inspection will guide you towards the recommended corrective action.

Ensure that your home will be a safe place to live

A home inspection will provide you with peace of mind knowing that the home you are purchasing has had a visual safety inspection of electrical, water heater, chimney, and other major systems.
